YourGood Planner

A guide to your archive

A conversation, worth returning to.

1. Create your account and connect Zoom

Register with your name, email and a password of at least 12 characters. Open Settings → Connect Zoom, sign in to the Zoom profile you use for meetings and approve the requested permissions. Your Zoom profile can be linked to one Planner account at a time.

2. Import meetings you host

In Zoom, enable cloud recording and audio transcription if your plan supports them. Record your meeting to the cloud and end the meeting. After Zoom finishes processing, Planner imports available MP4, M4A and VTT files. Open your archive and click Sync recordings if needed. Processing and transcript generation can take time. Planner checks recordings from the day you connect Zoom onward.

3. Invite a notetaker to a meeting you attend

Join the meeting using the Zoom profile connected in Settings. In Planner, select Invite notetaker, enter the Zoom link or ID and meeting passcode, then confirm that you are attending and have the right to record. Inform the other participants. The host must admit YourGood Notetaker if a waiting room is enabled, and approve its request to record locally.

Stay in the meeting while the bot records. You do not need to make the bot a host or co-host. The bot captures audio only, for up to 60 minutes. Use Stop notetaker in the meeting page to end capture and process the audio. A host can revoke recording permission or remove the bot at any time.

4. Revisit the conversation

Open a meeting to play available audio or video. Search the transcript, then select a timestamp to seek. For a cloud meeting with multiple recording parts, select the corresponding transcript and recording part. You can download available files. Automated transcripts may contain errors.

When something is missing

No cloud files: confirm cloud recording was used with the connected host profile and wait for Zoom processing. Local Zoom recordings are not imported. No transcript: check Zoom audio transcription settings, or wait for the bot’s transcription queue. A recording with no speech can have an empty transcript. Bot did not join: check the meeting link, passcode, host admission, your attendance and Zoom app availability. No bot audio: the host may not have granted recording permission, or the session may have stopped before audio was captured.

Disconnect or remove your data

Delete one meeting from its page. In Settings, Disconnect Zoom removes the connection and its Planner archive. You may also remove YourGood Planner from Zoom App Marketplace → Manage → Added Apps → Remove. Delete account in Settings removes your Planner account and archive. These actions do not remove original Zoom cloud files.
